Modern and beautiful small hotel overlooking city, we had a perfect 10/10 experience here. The food was fantastic, we thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast. Booked deluxe double room, that included a lounge and a minibar. The property was in a fantastic and amazing location close enough to the central square of Bolognia, far enough away to be out of earshot of the young revelers that frequent the square during the day and all the major attractions. Furthermore, close to the center of Bologna.

During our 4-day stay, we had a fantastic time at a clean hotel with a wonderful location just steps away from the main square.

Breakfast was excellent - a real spread of many items. The staff were exceptional in the breakfast room and reception staff were always helpful
The only reason the stay doesn't get 'perfect' is that its central location worked against it with earsplitting music from a festival in the piazza, 10 am to midnight on Sat and Sunday. The hotel has fabulous soundproofing but it couldn't cope.

It is very central (20 steps onto the Piazza Maggiore) so excellent for al nightlife, restaurants, shopping etc. The hotel is a little, teensy weensy old-fashioned, but he room was extremely comfortable, excellent double glazing (important as we looked onto the square) a well stocked minibar, very reasonably priced, a free bottle of wine and chocolates. Breakfast was plentiful with cooked options and an extremely extensive buffet.
The receptionist could not have been less interested in us when we arrived. Admittedly it was later on in the afternoon and she may have been a bit fed up, but really! Next morning no better. A shame she was so grumpy. All the other staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, this would not put us off going back. Next time I would be looking forward to whether she could keep up the grumpiness, perhaps treat making her smile a bit of a challenge!
